Dear Paseo 59 classmates,
I am sorry to inform you that Claudine Jackson Weiher passed away at her home in Washington, D.C. Saturday, October 13th
after a short battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband,
Rodney, her dear friend John Fawcett, and her brother, Jim Jackson.
There will be a graveside ceremony 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 19th
at Mount Mariah and Freeman Funeral Home and Cemetery, 10507 Holmes
Road, Kansas City, MO 64131 Family and friends can gather at the
funeral home around 10:30-10:45 and then process to the cemetary
together.
A wake will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Figlio Tower and Italian Restaurant, the site of our 50th
year reunion (as many of us remember with gratitude, Claudine chaired
the planning committee).
The address there is 209 West 46th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64112.
In
lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Hospice
that provided wonderful care for Claudine. Please send donations to
Capitol Caring Hospice, 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, VA 22042 and
reference Claudine’s name with the donation.
